About Our Theatre Intensive Camp

Join us for the most well-rounded and intensive Theatre Camp program in the area! At our camps, students are completely immersed into the world of theatre. They will learn about a variety of acting and movement methods and how to apply them to their performances. They'll learn how to develop their characters using not only the tools available to them, but also their own imaginations.
Generally our camps are Musical Theatre - based, but they can be customized to your specific group's needs. We can do an acting camp, musical camp, improv camp, and more!
At the end of each camp they perform for family and friends, showing off their singing, dancing, and acting skills.

Outdoor SummerStage Musical Theatre Camp

For the fourth consecutive year, we are excited to offer our MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP at SummerStage of Delafield at Lapham Peak! Enjoy a week of acting, singing, and dancing training while also taking in the fresh summer air.

"Even several days later I am amazed by the showcase. Jase recently did a longer theater intensive with [another youth theatre program] and their showcase had a third of the content and it wasn't nearly as well performed.
The growth I saw in Jase over the week astounded me. He did things in this intensive that he hasn't covered before regarding character development and you could see how that changed his approach. His scene as Einstein floored me. Who was that confident kid with pretty decent comedic timing? Because that wasn't the same child I dropped off at the beginning of the week.
But, what really amazed me is the way he let go with the singing and dancing. He struggles in this area and so he usually just disconnects because he would rather do nothing than do it wrong. When he is at Sudbrink Performance Academy, the caring and warm environment makes him feel confident and he knows that even if he makes a mistake, he will be fine and that is a HUGE testament to the caring, creative positive environment you create. I fully expected Jase to LOVE the acting parts of the class and tolerate the song and dance parts but his favorite part of camp was actually a tie between the Lion King number and the Revolting Kids number. I was shocked at how well he did in both numbers.
He has come along way and we have Sudbrink Performance Academy to thank for that.

"The Spring Break Camp was not only the BEST WEEK of my life, but I learned so much! I learned to really develop my character (with songs and scene studies) and use my creativity to write our own scene. I had fun working with my theater family and was really sad when it was over. Jes is the best teacher (and even though Jacob wasn't there - he is my best teacher too). It is my dream to be a stage actress in musicals and plays and I know I will always be the best I can be with Jes and Jacob helping me always.
