Hi! We are The Sudbrinks.
Together, along with our fantastic teaching staff, we offer education, training, and connections to the performing arts community. No matter what programs fit you best, our goal is the same. We are here to help you or your child be fierce and fearless - to motivate, challenge, and prepare - for all that life has to offer.
Private Lessons help students break through their own limitations, and find a greater sense of their own abilities. A natural talent is a start, and only by working with a coach can the true potential be tapped into. Performers who take private lessons are able to go out and audition more confidently than performers who don't regularly work on their craft with private lessons.
Private lessons are available in areas of acting, singing, dance, as well as a variety of instruments.
Classes benefit performers by building confidence while growing, playing, and keeping skills sharp in between shows. Our performance-based classes present pieces at an end-of-the-season showcase staged at a theater and professionally recorded.
We offer classes for the seasoned actor, a young beginner, and everything in between.
Creative Enhancement Programs are special limited-time opportunities for our performing arts community to learn from professionals in the industry. In the past, we have brought in guest teachers who are currently in a Broadway show, on a National Tour, and active members of Actor's Equity Association. Our guest teachers are true professionals who are working in the theatre arts as a full-time career, and the advice and insight they are able to share is invaluable to our community. We have brought in Master Classes, private lessons, Q & A sessions, and more!
Workshops are one-time programs, or a series of programs, aimed at learning and focusing on a specific area. Our most popular is our Audition Workshop, which is a useful and productive tool in readying yourself prior to an audition.
Camps are specialty programs offered for a limited time, typically during local school off-days. We have been offering one-week camps over Christmas Break, Spring Break, and Summer, since 2015.
Productions at Sudbrink Performance Academy are professionally executed, with a capable production team and a challenging audition process. Currently, we produce one show each summer, with performers ages 18 and younger. Taking classes or lessons is not a requirement to participate, though students regularly working on their skills have found the audition process to be easier than students who do not take classes or lessons.
We can't wait to meet you, and welcome you to the #SudFamily!
